Chung is signing copies of her new book, "Connie: A Memoir" at Books and Greetings in Northvale on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m.
"Connie" covers Chung's career, the daughter of Chinese immigrants who got her first job in 1969 at a TV station in Washington, D.C. and then became a correspondent for CBS News, covering everything from the Watergate scandal to interviewing Magic Johnson, according to a synopsis. She later became the co-anchor of the CBS Evening News and also hosted her own show "Eye to Eye With Connie Chung," where she had an infamous interviews with Kathleen Gingrich and Tonya Harding.
The book also details her marriage to talk show host Maury Povich, according to a synopsis.
